Teamcenter to NetSuite

Follow the instructions below to automatically sync data from Teamcenter to NetSuite:

Connect NetSuite and create an integration

First, connect NetSuite and create your integration (instructions here). Make sure the integration is fetching Items.

Connect Teamcenter and create an integration.

Next, set up your Teamcenter integration following the instructions here.

Configure Teamcenter to sync to NetSuite.

In the Teamcenter integration panel, select NetSuite as the target app from the dropdown menu:

You will have the option to only sync released data from Teamcenter:

Violet will automatically push all parts and their children to NetSuite as Items, and it will push changes to existing Items when there are changes.

One-time data syncs

Alternatively, you can push parts to NetSuite on a one-off basis.

1. Navigate to the desired Teamcenter Part in Violet.

2. Under Automations, select your target app and click Push.

   Note, if this part is an assembly, the entire assembly will be pushed.

2. Once successful, you will now see this part and its children in Teamcenter, Violet and NetSuite.

What’s needed from your team

We’ll need to set up a couple things first:

• Violet will need access to your Teamcenter server, which is either via simple allowlisting or VPN. Detailed info here.

• Let us know if you have any Custom Item Types or Custom Properties in Teamcenter.

• We’ll need a read-only Violet user account for your Teamcenter instance, and access to Active Workspace if you have it.
