Connect DOORS Next Generation in Violet

1. In Violet (or VioletGov), navigate to Apps and click to add a new integration.

1. Select DoorsNG

2. Enter your DOORS Next Generation URL, Project URI (unique identifier) and your username and password, then click Connect.

   1. To find the Project URI from the web app, examine the browser address bar - it might look something like: https://:/rm/web#action=com.ibm.rdm.web.pages.showProjectDashboard&projectContext=https://:/rm/process/project-areas/_Abc123Xyz789

   2. The project URI in the above example is _Abc123Xyz789

   

[Optional] You can also provide a unique name for the connection based on the credentials you're using, and you can create restricted permissions to users or groups:

1. Once connected, you can configure which types of data to ingest, how frequently data should be refreshed, etc.

• Last, click Create to begin fetching data. You're done!
