### How does pricing work?

Violet pricing is based on your choice of:

* <mark style="color:purple;">Platform</mark> The base Violet platform provides unlimited integrations with our **Free** family of connectors and a suite of features to manage, track and report on your data.
* <mark style="color:purple;">Integrations and Syncs</mark> Extend Violet's power even further with **Pro** and **Enterprise** connectors. Pricing is based on the number of active integrations as well as the number workflows (or "data syncs") established between a source and destination tool.
* <mark style="color:purple;">Modules</mark> Unlock more powerful workflow automation with access to our purpose-built modules like **Requirements**, **Parts** or **Models**. Pricing is based on the number of editors assigned to each module.

* Subscribe to selected data streams and activity types
* Configure tailored notifications directly to Slack
* Create public or private integrations, reports and dashboards

Upgrade to a **VioletGov, Single Tenant or On-prem platform** depending on your team's security and compliance needs:

* **VioletGov (starts at $3k/yr)**
  * VioletGov provides full ITAR/EAR compliance. It is hosted on an AWS GovCloud (US) partition and meets residency storage and processing requirements required for government workloads.
* **Single Tenant (starts at $5k/yr)**
  * A single tenant deployment ensures a dedicated, isolated instance for increased security and control.
* **On-premises (starts at $8k/yr)**
  * On-prem deployments offer the maximum amount of control over your data. We provide maintenance and release updates at the cadence of your choosing.&#x20;

Keep your data in sync - however often, in real-time, and in any direction. Pricing is based on the requirements of your data flow

* **Scheduled ($2k/yr per ongoing sync)**
  * Violet will perform scheduled syncs of data from a source to a destination on a desired frequency.
  * Additionally, users can always manually re-fetch data whenever they need to.
* **Event-driven ($4k/yr per ongoing sync)**
  * Violet will listen for changes in your data and make updates in real-time. Event-driven data synchronization is available for any software tools that offer webhook functionality.
* **Bi-directional ($6k/yr per ongoing sync)**
  * Establish a bi-directional sync to allow updates to be made in any tool - Violet will synchronize data in both directions to ensure your information is never out of date

Violet modules enable you to generate data like [Requirements](https://docs.violetlabs.com/features/requirements) natively, or to manage and *activate* data from your live integrations.

Pricing for modules is based on the number of designated editors. When editor access is purchased for a module, your team has an unlimited number of viewers as well.
