# Wayfinder

### **Connect Wayfinder in Violet**

To connect Wayfinder in Violet, you’ll need an API key and secret. Reach out to your Wayfinder point of contact to obtain these credentials, then follow the instructions below.

1. In [Violet](https://app.violetlabs.com/) (or [VioletGov](https://app.violetgov.com/)), navigate to **Integrations** and click  <img src="/files/IS4aq5Ad1Nr6RFUu4LLg" alt="" data-size="line"> to add a new integration.&#x20;
2. Select <img src="/files/2mgHfU46VMORXU6L7e0y" alt="" data-size="line"> **Wayfinder**

\[Optional] You can also provide a unique name for the connection based on the credentials you're using, and you can create **restricted permissions** to users or groups:

3. Enter your API key and secret, and click **Connect.**
4. Enter the NORAD ID of the space object you'd like to track, then click **Create.**
5. Click the Subscribe <img src="/files/BTBKYCa83t5MwUJqmhJ6" alt="" data-size="line"> icon to get real-time updates as the object's orbit changes. Configure your notifications for [Slack](/apps/s/slack.md) to receive them there.
