Connect BILL in Violet

1. In Violet (or VioletGov), navigate to Apps and click to add a new integration.

1. Select BILL

• If you'd like, provide a unique name for the connection.

• You can also set view or edit permissions for users or groups. If you don’t need to, you can skip this.

1. Select your BILL instance type from the dropdown (Sandbox or Production).

2. Enter your Organization ID. This is a unique alphanumeric value that starts with 008. There are a few ways to obtain it:

   1. Reach out to your BILL point of contact and they will provide it to you

   2. Generate an API token in your BILL app (navigate to Settings >> Sync & Integrations >> Tokens). We'll provide a 1Password vault for you to securely share this with us. We will then use this token to retrieve your Organization ID.

      
   3. If you're feeling adventurous, you can retrieve your Organization ID using your browser's Developer Tools feature. See the next page for instructions.

3. Enter your BILL username and password, then click Connect.

4. Once connected, configure your integration (optional), then click Create. You're done!
