Connecting GitLab in Violet
These instructions are for cloud-based GitLab. If your instance is self-hosted, head to this page instead.
In Violet (or VioletGov), navigate to Integrations and click to add a new integration.
Select GitLab.
Click Connect with GitLab and log in using your GitLab credentials.
If you prefer to connect with an API token, follow the instructions here.
[Optional] You can also provide a unique name for the connection based on the credentials you're using, and you can create restricted permissions to users or groups:
Once connected, you can configure which types of data to ingest, how frequently data should be refreshed, etc.
Last, click Create to begin fetching data. You're done!
