Connect Onshape in Violet

1. In Violet (or VioletGov), navigate to Integrations and click to add a new integration.

2. Select Onshape

[Optional] You can also provide a unique name for the connection based on the credentials you're using, and you can create restricted permissions to users or groups:

1. Click Connect with Onshape and log in using your Onshape credentials.

2. Once connected, configure your integration (optional), then click Create. You're done!

How it works

Violet utilizes both Onshape webhooks and our internal schedule-based ingestion engine to intelligently fetch and structure Onshape part and BOM data as well as 3D models and 2D drawings or other files.

Parts are selectable by Onshape folders, and must have an assigned Part Number to be ingested into Violet. Monitor the ingestion of your data in the Integrations Dashboard and consume it in Reports, Scripts or Requirements.

Onshape data can also be synced to downstream tools such as ION, Boltline, NetSuiteor Odoo (Coming Soon).

Monitor health and performance of your data in the Integrations Dashboard.
