[Optional] Connect with Jama Client ID & Secret

If you prefer to connect to Jama using a Client ID & Secret, follow the instructions below.

Generate a Jama Client ID & Secret

1. In Jama, click on your name in the upper-right hand corner to access your profile.

   
2. In the pop-up window, select Set API Credentials

   
3. Enter a name for the credentials and click Create API Credentials. Copy these credentials - you will not be able to access them again (but you can always create new ones).

   
4. Back in Violet, select Client ID and Secret under Authentication Method, and enter the credentials you just created. Click Connect with credentials.

   
5. Once connected, configure your integration (optional), then click Create. You're done!
