[Optional] Connect to Monday.com with an API Token

If you prefer to connect Monday using an API Token, follow the instructions below:

Generate an API Token in Monday.com

1. Click on your profile icon in the upper right-hand corner, then select Administration from the drop-down menu.

   
2. Click on API

   
3. Click on Generate to generate a token

   
4. Copy the token that appears

   

Once you're done, head back to Apps in Violet (or Apps in VioletGov), click Show other authentication options, enter your token, and click Connect with API Token.
