ITAR/EAR Compliance

VioletGov is a fully ITAR- and EAR-compliant workbench for your team’s engineering, manufacturing and supply chain data.

VioletGov is hosted in an AWS GovCloud (US) partition, and all customer data is stored exclusively within GovCloud services. This ensures that all data meets residency storage and processing requirements for government workloads.

Violet accesses data from your team’s Gov and non-Gov software applications over SSL/TLS, guaranteeing data encryption in transit. All stored data (including databases, files, caches, and application logs) is 256-bit AES encrypted at rest.

ITAR-sensitive customer data is only accessible to Violet Labs employees who are US Persons and who have received ITAR/EAR training. ITAR-sensitive customer data that needs to be accessed outside of the GovCloud-hosted Violet platform is never downloaded or stored.
