Connecting Confluence in Violet

1. Navigate to Apps and select Confluence

   
2. Enter your Confluence URL, username and your API Token and click Connect. (Follow the instructions below to create an API Token)

   If you’d like, name the connection to indicate whose credentials were used.

   

   You also have the option to control permissions on who can view, edit and manage data. Select Advanced Permissions to configure permissions for users and groups.

   
3. Configure your integration and click Create. You’re done!

   

If you prefer to connect via API Token, follow the instructions below to generate one. Then in Violet, click Show other authentication options, enter your token, and click Connect with API Token.

1. Open your Atlassian Workspace Security Settings here.

2. Create a new API token

   1. Click on Create API token

   2. Click on Create button

   3. Copy the token
