Sync PLM data to Fusion

Sync Part data from any PLM into Fusion.

Follow the instructions for your PLM of choice:

Solidworks PDM to Fusion

Automate the sync of assemblies from Solidworks PDM into your MES or ERP.

Currently, this automation supports Solidworks PDM via .csv import. A Solidworks plugin is on our feature roadmap and launching soon.

Follow the instructions below to get started.

Instructions

1. First, you'll need to have a Fusion integration in Violet that is fetching Parts (instructions here)

2. In Solidworks, navigate to your Bill of Materials (BOM) assembly and export in .csv format.

3. In Violet (or VioletGov), navigate to Apps, select Solidworks PDM, click Upload File and select your file.

4. In the dropdown menu, choose to automatically push data to Fusion and click Create. You're done! [Optional] Push released parts only. To push only released parts, check the box beneath the dropdown.

Duro to Fusion

1. First, you'll need to have a Fusion integration in Violet that is fetching Parts (instructions here)

2. Follow the instructions here to set up a Duro integration.

3. In the integration panel, choose to automatically push data to Fusion. You can also select whether only released data should be pushed. Click Create. You're done!

Teamcenter to Fusion

1. First, you'll need to have a Fusion integration in Violet that is fetching Parts (instructions here)

2. Follow the instructions here to set up a Teamcenter integration.

3. In the integration panel, choose to automatically push data to Fusion. You can also select whether only released data should be pushed. Click Create. You're done!

Windchill to Fusion

1. First, you'll need to have a Fusion integration in Violet that is fetching Parts (instructions here)

2. Follow the instructions here to set up a Windchill integration.

3. In the integration panel, choose to automatically push data to Fusion. You can also select whether only released data should be pushed. Click Create. You're done!

Arena to Fusion

1. First, you'll need to have a Fusion integration in Violet that is fetching Parts (instructions here)

2. Follow the instructions here to set up an Arena integration.

3. In the integration panel, choose to automatically push data to Fusion. You can also select whether only released data should be pushed. Click Create. You're done!

Aras to Fusion

1. First, you'll need to have a Fusion integration in Violet that is fetching Parts (instructions here)

2. Follow the instructions here to set up an Aras integration.

3. In the integration panel, choose to automatically push data to Fusion. You can also select whether only released data should be pushed. Click Create. You're done
