Connecting Altium365 in Violet

Altium365 connects via Nexar using a Client ID and Client Secret. Follow the instructions below to create a Nexar account and generate your credentials:

1. If you don’t already have an account in Nexar, create one here. Activate your account and log in.

2. In your Nexar account, navigate to Applications and select Create app. Name it, and under the Scopes section, check the Design box. Select the Terms and Conditions checkbox and click Create.

   
3. Once created, navigate to the Authorization tab in the app you just created. Scroll down to Credentials, and copy the Client ID and Client Secret. Remember to write these down.

4. Back in Violet, navigate to Apps, ****click New Integration, then select the Altium365 icon. Follow the flow to create a new connection, and provide the credentials from Nexar.
