Connecting Testrail in Violet

To connect Testrail in Violet, follow the instructions below:

1. In Violet, navigate to Apps, and select Testrail

2. Enter a name for the connection

3. Next, you have the option to restrict permissions on the ingested data to certain users or groups. If you don’t need to do this, skip this step.

   
4. Select whether you are connecting to a cloud-hosted or self-hosted Testrail instance

5. Enter the name of your instance

6. Enter your username and password

7. Click Connect with Credentials
