Consolidate related data in a single report.
You can merge data from multiple sources into a dynamic table on our Multisource Reports page. Multisource Reports allow you to select which entity you wish to use as the pivot source, pulling its child entities and representing each as an additional row within a single, unified table.
Access the Multisource Reports page from the navigation panel.
Begin typing a Part Number into the input. The dropdown will automatically populate with entities starting with your typed input. Click on the desired Part Number pivot source.
We will generate an interactive data table for you. By default within the table, columns are grouped by integrated application.
The part in the image above has related entities within both ION and Duro Applications.
You can modify the table by performing a variety of actions:
Show and Hide Specific Columns: Update the visibility of columns, customizing the table to focus on relevant information at any given time.
Reordering and Resizing Columns: Drag and drop column headers to change their order, prioritizing the information that matters most. Resize columns effortlessly by dragging the edges, or by using our autosize column functionality to adjust column widths, ensuring optimal visibility of your data.
To download the data for further analysis, select your desired file format and click the download button in the upper right-hand corner.
A Violet Exploration allows you to save and share views, capturing your chosen layout and sorting preferences for the data table. Saved views retain your tailored settings, enabling seamless access to specific data configurations whenever needed. Violet Explorations are available on the Data Explorer and Multisource Reports pages.
Creating Explorations: Click the save button above the table to create a Violet Exploration. You will be asked to provide a name and address whether your teammates should have view/edit permissions to your Violet Exploration. Should you make additional changes after saving, click on the save button once more to lock them in for future use.
Viewing Existing Explorations: Select an existing Violet Exploration by clicking the folder icon above the table. Should you navigate to other pages on Violet and later return to the Multisource Reports page in the future, we will automatically open the most recently viewed exploration on your behalf.
Removing an Exploration: You may leave a Violet Exploration by clicking X to the right of its name or by selecting a new Violet Exploration.
We provide two options for managing column visibility.
Click on the word Columns on the left of the table to open the tool panel. Here you can check or checkbox specific columns of your choosing.
Hover over a column header name to prompt a hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) to appear. Click on the icon to list all columns alongside checkboxes to manage which columns you see.
Unchecking columns hides them from both the table and downloaded files.
Data from the table are downloadable in Excel and CSV formats.
We’re actively building out additional relationship types and properties in the table. Supporting a row detail view and manual entity Insertion are on our near-term roadmap. Check back soon for an enhanced feature set!
