Connecting Trello in Violet

Violet requires an API token to connect to Trello. To generate one:

1. Open your Atlassian Workspace Security Settings here.

2. Create a new API token:

   1. Click on Create API token

   2. Click on Create

   3. Copy the token to your clipboard.

      
3. In Violet, navigate to Apps and select Trello. Enter a name for the connection

4. Here, you have the option to restrict permissions on the ingested data to certain users or groups. If you don’t need to do this, skip this step.

   
5. Enter your API token and click Connect.

6. Once connected, you can configure your integration

7. Last, configure any integration settings (below), then click Create. You're done!

   1. Configuration Settings:

      1. Specify the types of data you want to fetch

      2. Define the fetch frequency

      3. Provide a descriptive name for your integration
