Microsoft 365 is a product family of productivity software, collaboration and cloud-based services owned by Microsoft.
First, confirm that you have either Global Administrator or Privileged Role Administrator permissions in Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AAD):
Log in to your organization’s page in Microsoft AAD (portal.azure.com), then select Users in the Manage section
Click on your user profile or that of the user(s) who will be integrating Microsoft data in Violet.
In the user’s profile, click on Assigned Roles in the Manage section
Select Add Assignments, search for either Global Administrator or Privileged Role Administrator, select it, and click Add. Confirm the user has been assigned the role(s):
Navigate back to the Violet app.
In the Microsoft Integration screen, the Authorization Server and Server fields should auto-fill with the information below. Confirm they are populated and click Test Connection.

From the Microsoft pop-up window, select the user account who was assigned the Administrator role(s) in step 1.
Click Accept to allow Violet to sign in, read your user profile and read items from your organization’s Microsoft365 instance.
The Tenant ID field should auto-fill with your Tenant ID. Once populated, click Create Connection.
To fetch data from Microsoft, you’ll need your team’s Sharepoint Site ID.
