ION to Xero

Follow the instructions below to automatically sync data between ION and Xero:

Create a Xero integration

First, connect to Xero and create an integration (full instructions here).

Connect ION

Next, connect ION or ION Gov (full instructions here).

Configure ION integration and Xero sync

Once you are connected to ION, configure your data fetch (data coming into Violet), including:

• the types of data you want to fetch (make sure to select Purchase Orders)

• how often data should be fetched (scheduled vs. event-driven)

Last, configure your data sync to Xero (data that is synced to Xero), including:

• how often you want data to be synced

• allowable times for data to be synced (for example, only sync outside of business hours)

• any specific rules for what should be synced (for example, by release status)

• any custom fields or attributes
