# \[Opcional] Conectar con Monday.com con un token de API

Si prefieres conectarte a Monday usando un token de API, sigue las instrucciones a continuación:

### Genera un token de API en Monday.com

1. Haz clic en el icono de tu perfil en la esquina superior derecha, luego selecciona **Administración** del menú desplegable.

2. Haz clic en **API**

3. Haz clic en **Generar** para generar un token

4. Copia el token que aparece

Cuando termines, vuelve a [Aplicaciones](https://app.violetlabs.com/apps/) en Violet (o [Aplicaciones](https://app.violetgov.com/apps/) en VioletGov), haz clic **Mostrar otras opciones de autenticación**, introduce tu token y haz clic **Conectar con token de API.**
