# PartsBox
## **Connect PartsBox in Violet**
1. In [Violet](https://app.violetlabs.com/) (or [VioletGov](https://app.violetgov.com/)), navigate to **Integrations** and click to add a new integration.
2. Select **PartsBox**.
\[Optional] You can also provide a unique name for the connection based on the credentials you're using, and you can create **restricted permissions** to users or groups:
3. Enter your PartsBox API key
1. To obtain a key, navigate to your PartsBox environment, then Settings > Data > API and select **Add API User**. Provide a name for the API user (eg. Violet), then select "User (read/write)" as the Role.
4. Click **CONNECT WITH API KEY & CONFIGURE INTEGRATION****.**
5. Configure your integration, and then click **CREATE**.
