# DOORS
### **Connect DOORS Next Generation in Violet**
1. In [Violet](https://app.violetlabs.com/) (or [VioletGov](https://app.violetgov.com/)), navigate to **Integrations** and click to add a new integration.
2. Select **DoorsNG**
3. Enter your DOORS Next Generation URL, Project URI (unique identifier) and your username and password, then click **Connect**.
1. To find the Project URI from the web app, examine the browser address bar - it might look something like: `https://:/rm/web#action=com.ibm.rdm.web.pages.showProjectDashboard&projectContext=https://:/rm/process/project-areas/_Abc123Xyz789`
2. The project URI in the above example is `_Abc123Xyz789`
\[Optional] You can also provide a unique name for the connection based on the credentials you're using, and you can create **restricted permissions** to users or groups:
4. Once connected, you can configure which types of data to ingest, how frequently data should be refreshed, etc.
* Last, click **Create** to begin fetching data. You're done!
